Service
It
is scheduled for this afternoon at
3:00pm. It is a wonderful time to
worship together and with our brothers & sisters from Donegal
Presbytery. The service will be followed
by a reception in the social hall, graciously prepared by members of the Pastor
Nominating Committee and the Deacons.
Theology & Worship
Pastor
Erin will continue teaching a special Adult Sunday School series on Theology
& Worship next Sunday. We will be
exploring the different parts of our worship service, paying careful attention
to the scriptural & theological reasons behind each worship element. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more
about worship as well as a place to bring your thoughts & questions. Hope you will make plans to join us!
New Senior Box Program for Chester County
The
Chester County Food Bank in conjunction with the Parkesburg Community Outreach
and the Mobile Food Pantry have a new Senior Box program for local
residents. To qualify, seniors must be
60 years old or older and meet the income criteria. A household of one would need a monthly
income of $1174.00 or less. The more
people in the home, the higher the income allowed. Please contact Phoebe Kitson at the Food Bank
to set up a certification time.

Community Outreach
In
an effort to keep the Parkesburg Food Cupboard stocked, the area churches are
responsible for collecting certain items each month. Our church’s items
include: cans of sloppy joe mix,
pancake mix, granola bars, ravioli, elbow noodles, brownie mixes, and baby
wipes. It is so important to have these items available for those in
our community who are in need each and every week of food for their
families. Please place these items in the back of the church where they
will be gathered and taken to the Food Cupboard. Thank you for your
continued generosity.
The
Parkesburg Churches Community Outreach is seeking good, used furniture (Must be
in good condition, i.e.: something you would give to a family
member. Drivers are needed to help
people get to doctor and other appointments. Also, drivers are needed for
furniture pick up and delivery. Please
